and this would later determine his choice of singing and writing in English.
Despite having no musical background in his family, Tiago started playing the acoustic guitar at age 8.
In 2007 his unpretentious acoustic single 'Nothing but a Song' drew attention to
his voice and led to the release of his debut album Let Yourself In, which gained notoriety after several of Tiago's songs were featured on major Brazilian primetime soap operas, TV ads and films. Tiago soon started touring across the country and in 2009 was Jason Mraz's Brazilian Tour opening act.
Let Yourself In was also released in Japan, where 'Nothing But a Song' peaked at number 11 on Billboard's Japan HOT 100 Chart, and in South Korea, where the public granted Tiago a Best Foreign Artist Award for his performance at the 2010 Grand Mint Festival. Another single — 'Fine' — featured on the popular South Korean TV series Personal Taste.
His second studio album Umbilical — which had New York-based Andy Chase as producer — was simultaneously released in Brazil, South Korea and Portugal on October 2011. Digital releases in the United States and Japan followed shortly after.
The Umbilical Tour had it's debut on March 14th at the 2012 South by Southwest Music Festival in Austin, Texas, and included performances in Portugal and over 20 sold out dates in Brazil.
Coisa Linda
Tiago Iorc Lyrics

Da cabeça ao pé
Do jeitinho que for
É, e só de pensar
Sei que já vou estar
Morrendo de amor
De amor
Coisa linda
Vou pra onde você está
Não precisa nem chamar
Coisa linda
Vou pra onde você está
Linda feito manhã
Feito chá de hortelã
Feito ir para o mar
Linda assim, deitada
Com a cara amassada
Enrolando o acordar
O acordar
Coisa linda
Vou pra onde você está
Não precisa nem chamar
Coisa linda
Vou pra onde você está
Ah, se a beleza mora no olhar
No meu você chegou e resolveu ficar
Pra fazer teu lar
Pra fazer teu lar
Coisa linda
Vou pra onde você está
Vou pra onde você está
Tiago Iorc's song "Coisa Linda" is a heartfelt ode to someone the singer deeply admires. The opening verse speaks of this person's beauty being evident from head to toe, however, it's not just about physical beauty. The singer refers to their captivating mannerisms that make them irresistible. The next verse continues with the sweet and loving description of the object of the singer's affection. They speak of this person possessing a beauty that is comparable to a refreshing morning, or a hot cup of mint tea. They also describe the lazy morning ritual of this person, who appears just as beautiful with a morning face and messy hair.
The chorus of the song exclaims the singer's desire to be where this stunning person is. They don't even have to be invited; the singer is already willing to go where they are. The bridge of the song is the most profound part, as it is where the singer confesses that in their eyes, this person is the embodiment of beauty. They have found a sense of belonging with this person - a sense of home. Overall, Tiago Iorc's "Coisa Linda" expresses both the physical and emotional beauty of a loved one, and the deep desire of the singer to be with this person.
