Two points for honesty
I'll give you credit for being truthful.

It must make you sad to know that
However, it can't be pleasant to realize

Nobody cares at all
Nobody else is invested in your personal achievements or failures.

I want to be where I've never been before
I desire to discover places and experiences previously unknown to me.

I want to be there and then I'd understand
This would help me to grow as an individual and gain more understanding.

Know I'm right and do it right
I have confidence in my abilities and will execute them correctly.

Could I get to be like that
Is it possible for me to achieve that level of proficiency?

How to know what I don't know
I'm not sure how to identify what gaps in my knowledge and abilities exist.

Nothing more to gain
It seems like there's no more potential for growth or development.

Will I get better or stay the same?
I wonder if I can improve, or if I'm stuck in the same place.

I find I always move too slowly
I'm frustrated by my lack of progress.

Can't lift a finger
I can't even motivate myself to take the smallest actions

Can't change my mind
My opinions and beliefs seem set in stone, despite evidence to the contrary.

I never knew till someone told me that
It took someone else pointing it out for me to realize

And all the people who've seen it all before
There are many jaded individuals who have already experienced what I'm just discovering now.

And all the people who already understand
There are also others who have a deeper understanding of the matter than I do.

Know they're right
They are confident in their knowledge.

and done it right
And have already executed it correctly.

Could I get to be like that?
Is it possible for me to reach that level of proficiency?

I don't know and I don't know
I'm unsure of the answer, and unsure of how to find out.

It's harder everyday
Every day presents new challenges and obstacles to overcome.

Can't lift a finger
Even the smallest tasks seem daunting and impossible.

Can't hurt a fly
I lack the ability to take strong or decisive action.

One thing's for certain
The only thing I'm sure of is that

I'm insecure
I lack confidence in myself and my abilities.

Nobody cares at all
Despite my self-doubt and apprehension,

They never cared at all
Others are not concerned with my personal success or failure.
