Amidst the frozen fields, there exists a place beyond the reach of our senses.

There lies a place deep within you, obscured by your soft and delicate outer layer.

Lies a house, absorbing fear and pain -
This hidden place, like a house, serves as a vessel for all the fear and pain that one endures.

Solar, Red, Contained -
It exists like a contained entity, in complete contrast with the brightness and warmth of the sun.

And feeding on my dreams.
It draws strength from the unconscious desires and hopes of the individual, like a predator feeding on its prey.

Somewhere cold, inside the optic wire,
In the cold and colorless space within the optic wire, a deeper place exists hidden from the naked eye.

Down where fingers and semen crack and bleed -
It is a place of pain and degradation, where the physical and the emotional suffer equally.

There I will be, with my arms spread out and broken,
The individual visualizes themselves in this place, vulnerable and powerless, with their defeated body stretched limply.

Waiting for your breath, to animate my veins.
They seek the power of another, to breathe new life into their stagnant existence and give them purpose and direction.

We're not alone: All our thoughts are numbered -
The individual realizes that their thoughts and experiences are not unique, but are part of a larger collective consciousness, with each thought having a place within a greater scheme.

Malignant and cold, animal and hungry.
This greater force that unites us bears traits of hostility, hunger, and animalism, despite its cold and unfeeling nature.

But I will contain all that ever was or will be,
Despite this force's hostility and apathy, the individual feels that they will be able to contain everything that ever was or will be, embodying the entirety of existence itself.

Then I'll watch my skin erupt, in a symphony of flames -
This realization brings a fiery passion within the individual, causing them to burst into a cacophony of emotions that they cannot contain.

Screaming out your name, screaming out your name...
As they burn with this passion, they call out to the other person they seek to be united with, longing for their presence to complete them.

Why can't I hide inside your halleable, electric face?
The individual longs to escape the pain and fear of their existence by becoming part of someone else, to hide within their electric and changeable façade.

You'd suck away the pain, and swallow down my sickest dreams.
They seek the other person's help to alleviate their pain, and even take on their darkest thoughts and dreams, freeing them from their burden.

Now my body feels like snow, spilling out the shattered screen -
Despite their desire for escape, the weight of their existence still burdens them, causing them to spill out like the fragile and fleeting snow.

Where will we be then, when all the fear and blood are gone,
The individual considers a future where all fear and pain have been eradicated, and wonders what will remain when their defining struggles are removed.

Drained into one hundred million open children's mouths -
They imagine the fear and pain being collected and absorbed by the open and innocent mouths of countless children, taking on new forms and meaning for a future generation.

Screaming out your name,
In the midst of all of this, the individual still longs for the presence and comfort of the other person they called out to before.

Screaming out your name...
Their desire for connection and escape is so great that they must call out again, hoping for a response that will carry them beyond the pain and fear of existence.
