Teddy bearのJOEY BOY
Baby!!
Baby
Baby
Baby
Baby!!
The lyrics to 木村カエラ's JOEY BOY tell a story of a Teddy bear named Joey Boy and his owner's frustrations with him. The song starts with the singer complaining about how Joey Boy is such a pain and how he always seems to be causing some kind of trouble. She then encourages him to be a better-behaved bear, exclaiming "もう少しちゃんとしてみてよ!" ("Try to be a bit more well-behaved!").
The chorus repeats the title "Teddy bearのJOEY BOY" while the singer laments about how messy he makes the room and how frustrating it is to clean up after him. She then asks "ねえBaby聞こえる?私の声が" ("Hey baby, can you hear my voice?"), calling out for Joey Boy's attention. She calls him "わがままJOEY" ("selfish Joey") and accuses him of being stubborn and causing problems. The song concludes with the singer singing Joey Boy to sleep, telling him that he is her treasure despite his mischievous behavior.
