The same year, Yukari released her first character single "Yuuki wo Kudasai". It wasn't until 2001 that she released her first single totally separate from any anime or game voice work she had done.

She is known affectionately by her fans as Yukarin (ゆかりん).
Her blood type is A and her height is 157 centimetres.
