Lyrics

The lyrics to "今日もきっと" by 秦基博 describe the monotonous daily routine of a person who is struggling to find meaning and purpose in their life. The lyrics begin by describing the faded morning sunrise and the ringing of the first train bell as an alarm, which signifies the start of a new day. The use of punctuation is minimal, reflecting the hurried pace of life and the pressure to keep up with its demands.
In the midst of this rushed and pressured lifestyle, the singer finds themselves losing sight of their dreams as they strive to keep up. They feel stuck and unable to move as they stand at a silent crossroads, watching life pass by and waiting for something to change. Despite this, they are determined to believe in a brighter future and to hold onto hope.
As the lyrics continue, the singer observes the chaos and confusion of a crowded city. They are reminded of the importance of staying true to oneself and not allowing the distractions of everyday life to cloud their vision. In spite of the challenges and difficulties of the past, they choose to focus on the possibilities of the future and to continue searching for meaning and purpose.

The casual sky, the red of the morning glow fading
The first bell rings like an alarm
in the midst of rushed days with no punctuation
I chase after the continuation of a dream and losing sight of it
I stay down, I stay stationary, I stay silent at the intersection
The light turns green again, everybody walks on
I'm sure that today, too, I'm still struggling and feeling like I'm falling apart
I want to believe in the present and tomorrow more
This morning's news is also being consumed in the hustle and bustle.
I don't want to deceive myself about what's important
Worn-out shoes and a newborn wind
pass through the gaps between buildings lined up
with faces that look as if they are other people's business
Even though yesterday, when I struggled so hard, squeezed my chest
I just want to keep looking ahead
Softly, softly, the new sunlight will change the meaning
Today, too, I'm sure I'll keep searching
I'll always believe in the present and tomorrow
