The song Bhogale Je Dukkh by Asha Bhosle is a melancholic yet insightful tune that speaks of the inevitability of sorrows, pains and hardships in life. The lyrics suggest that everyone experiences their own share of sufferings and eventually learns to endure it. The first stanza of the song says that when someone has experienced enough sufferings, it almost becomes a pleasure and is often compared to happiness. This line highlights how life is not just about good times and that pains and sufferings play a crucial role in shaping an individual's character.
The second stanza highlights how one may try to hide their pain or mask it, but eventually, it seeps through the cracks and touches others as well. It could be through their emotional upheavals or outbursts. However, despite their efforts, they cannot prevent the world from seeing their pain.
The third stanza suggests that when one is confronted with their sufferings or pains, they tend to reflect on their past and wonder how they could have changed the outcome. The song hints at the inevitability of life's struggles and how it is crucial to accept them and grow from them.
Overall, the song encourages listeners to be resilient and to understand that life's hardships are merely a part of the journey towards self-discovery.
