1. Formed by Nagy Feró and Németh Alajos in 1982, Budapest, Hungary, Bikini is one of the most successful Hungarian rock band of the eighties. Nagy Feró's (also known as "the cockroach of the nation", as he called himself) former punk band, the legendary Beatrice split up in 1982, after having serious problems with communist authorities, when they formed this band.
The band music and lyrics was, like much of the communist era, filled with hidden meanings against the oppression. With Nagy Feró in the front of the Bikini they produced two studio albums, which were very progressive, post modern punk rock albums. Their debut was "Hová lett?" (1983), followed by the "XX. századi híradó" (1984) one year later. However as the eroding of Hungarian communist regime became more obvious and faster, Feró left the Bikini for reuniting the Beatrice.
In 1985 D. Nagy Lajos arrived to the band as a lead singer, when they progressed to a more accessible and melodic rock sound, and produced legendary and very successful hit songs like "Közeli helyeken" or "Ki visz haza?", which are still very popular and often played in Hungary. The band split up in 1992 but reunited in 1997.
Members are: D. Nagy Lajos, Németh Alajos, Lukács Peta, Mihalik Viktor, Makovics Dénes, Bördén Szabolcs.
Some former members are:
Nagy Feró (vocals 1982-85), Vedres Joe (guitar 1982-91, 1997-1998), Németh Gábor (drums, 1982-1985), Berecz Endre (drums, 1989-1991), Hirleman Bertalan (drums, 1985-1989, 1997-1998), Gallai Péter (keyboards 1985-2003), Daczi Zsolt (guitar 1991-2004), Csillag Endre (guitars 2004-2006), Kató Zoltán (saxophone, 1989-1998).

2. Bikini (electro-pop dance music duo) is Nigel Diamond and Olivier Olivier. Their music is like Salinger on MDMA. Diamond is originally from Miami and Olivier was classically trained at the Royal Conservatory.
Olivier Olivier is the son of the late Indian poet Fateh Bains and moved to Canada where he attended Glen-Lyon Norfolk School, a school chosen for its musical program affiliated with the Royal Conservatory of Music. It was here Olivier met Nigel Diamond, who was sent down after he was expelled from his previous school.
It wasn’t until after Glen-Lyon Norfolk that the two began to make music together. Olivier composes all the melodies in the fall of each year, drawing his inspiration from the poetry he writes during the summer. He records vocals, exports all his drafts without titles or form to Diamond. Diamond spends the following spring arranging Olivier's melodies, rhythm sequences and vocal treatments, adding his own lines. The result is a finished record. Nothing is sent back to Olivier. The songs are then sent from Diamond to be mastered and released.

Bikini Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴
A világ legszebb városában,
Az egyetlen otthonában
Élek veled.
Gyönyörűséges állapotban
A legszebb álmot megálmodtam,
2. A legjobb nőre ráborúlva,
Karját körém kanyarítva,
Egyenest a szemembe mondja, hogy
Nem lehet.
Fülembe súgja földi sorsát,
Felhőkbe zárt szűk mennyország.
Bárcsak bejuthatnék oda,
Történjen velem csoda!
Óóó-ohó-ohohó

These lyrics are from the song "Ne menj el" by the Hungarian band Bikini. The song expresses the singer's strong desire for someone not to leave them and their struggle to breathe without that person.
In the first paragraph, the singer describes living in what they consider to be the best country on Earth, specifically the most beautiful city in the world, their only home. They also mention having dreamed the most beautiful dream in a state of bliss, but not knowing how to catch their breath. This could suggest that the person they are addressing is essential to their happiness and well-being.
In the chorus, the singer pleads for the person not to leave. They express that they haven't fully burned yet, implying that without this person, they haven't reached their peak or experienced the intensity of love or passion. They don't want them to go and make them feel incomplete or unfulfilled.
In the second paragraph, the singer describes the feeling of being embraced by the most amazing woman, her arms wrapped around them. However, despite the closeness, the singer is told directly in their eyes that it is not possible, perhaps referring to a romantic relationship or some sort of unattainable connection. The person whispers their earthly fate into their ear, suggesting a complex or problematic relationship. The singer wishes they could reach the narrow paradise hidden behind the clouds and hopes for a miracle to happen to them.
Overall, the lyrics convey a sense of longing and desperation for the person not to leave. The imagery used in the song creates a vivid picture of the singer's emotional state and their reliance on this person for their happiness and fulfillment.
