This clip makes me yearn for more, more, more Merman and Crosby.  They are a fantastic team!  Boy, when Ethel made this movie, she still had Hattie, Annie, Sally, Liz, Rose, and Dolly in her future.  How blessed with great music and roles was she!

Do you have more scenes from this film version. I love young Ethel Merman! I saw her on Broadway in Gypsy and I saw her on TV all during the fifties but had no idea that she could jump around. THough she never lost the power in her voice, there are some other qualities the young Ethel had. She and Bing are super together.

What a wonderful Rare treat. Especially since this movie version contains many clever new lyrics which Cole Porter wrote for the movie that did not exist in the original stage production. These movie lyrics should be used in any and all revivals of "Anything Goes". These new lyrics are Extraordinary and Brilliant.
