1. Elmo Kennedy O'Connor, known professionally as Bones, is an American rapper from Howell, Michigan. He is notable for the frenetic pace at which he releases new music, including over 40 mix tapes and 88 music videos since 2011, and his resistance to signing with a major record label or charging money for his music despite significant popularity and label interest. Born to a mother who designed clothing and a father who was a web designer. His grandfather was actor Robert Culp. When Bones was 7 years old, his family moved to Howell, Michigan. When he was 16, he dropped out of high school and moved to Los Angeles where his brother, Elliott, had already been living.
He has collaborated on three tracks with Raider Klan member Eddy Baker, including “High”, “Delinquents”, and “PayPal” off of Bones's albums Saturn (2013), Creep (2013), and Garbage (2014). Bones also performs and collaborates often with Xavier Wulf and another former Raider Klan member Chris Travis. Bones is 1 of the 4 members in the collective Seshollowaterboyz, which consists of Him (Bones), Xavier Wulf, Chris Travis, and Eddy Baker.
In 2014, Bones self-released 5 mixtapes through his label TeamSesh, including Garbage, which received coverage and critical acclaim from notable publications including The Fader, Pigeons & Planes, and RESPECT.
Bones headlined a sold out show at the House of Blues in Los Angeles on March 4, 2015. and opened for Shlohmo at The Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles on May 7, 2015. The hook from Bones' song "Dirt" was featured in ASAP Rocky's "Canal St." on the 2015 At. Long. Last. ASAP album.
On September 17, 2015, Bones performed "Canal St." with ASAP Rocky on the Jimmy Kimmel Live! show but was cut from the TV broadcast. Videos of the performance were made available online. Bones and his manager Elliott O’Connor, who is also his brother, have both stated that major labels have shown interest in signing him but he has declined up to this point. According to Max Bell of LA Weekly, "interested labels wanted him to be their 'white rapper,' an artist along the lines of Mac Miller and Machine Gun Kelly. But Bones wasn't interested in being remade.
2. Bones are a death metal band from Belgium, with two releases on Bandcamp, and an EP "Gate Of Night" out soon on Blood Harvest Records. Lineup: Stef (guitars/vocals), Jeroen (lead guitars/vocals), Viktor (drums), Laurens (bass).
3. Bones are a 3-piece death metal punk band from Chicago, with two releases on Bandcamp and a third currently being recorded. Originally members of the 90s thrash band Usurper, Bones compromises of Joe Warlord (drums), Carcass Chris (guitar), and Jon Necromancer (bass & vox).
4. Part performance artist, part ego drenched rock star, Bones rips delta blues with punks intensity, and throws in a little stripper jazz for colour. With the delivery of a storefront preacher, The Man Named Bones (the alter ego of one Michael Miller) sings, screams and growls Sex, Drugs and Rock and Roll with tongue firmly in cheek. Armed with an upright bass, an electric guitar, a sampler and a drum machine, Bones is a one man blues/punk machine.
5. Bones was an untitled noise project released on the French static noise / HNW label Slow Death Music, believed to by Julien Skrobek.

Blade on my waist
Blunt to the face and I'm up in this thang
Drugs in my veins, your bitch is so lame
Remember her throat, don't remember her name
Creep in the night, hear my knife from the flip
Taking your life then I'm taking your bitch
Kiss on her lips then I'm shutting her eyes
If she with BONES, she ain't leaving alive
Truthfully die, she was living a lie
Hated her folks, loved all the drugs
Hated true love, she just loves to fuck
Love just to gut, love just to roll
Hated just to talk, so she always moans
Riding all alone and I wish that I was home
Wishing that I didn't go down this road
The day that I die, hope my mama don't cry
Hope she realize it was just my time
Nobody ever ready to bury their own child
But I'm dead already, so I'm good for a while
Young white punk, dead girls rolling blunts
Blood on the Backwood, roll 'til she numb
Cuts on her wrists, teardrops on the face
So I flip my switchblade just to let her know she's safe
She just want BONES, I wanna be alone
I don't need friends, I don't need no home
I don't want money, I don't need a fuckin' car
Rather sleep in the alley, rather live with the bums
Young fucking scumbag, I don't know how
Bitches like me, but fuck it, it's alright
They hear how I rhyme, see how I act
They see my shows just to hear me rap
Baby, I could save you, come with me now
Take her to the grave then I put her in the ground
Hands on her neck, now she's saying, "Take my life"
Who am I to deny such a beautiful sight?
What? BONES
SESH, what?
Yeah, what?
Yeah, what?
What? What? What?
Oh, please don't go (What? What?)
Oh, please don't go (What? What?)
Don't leave me, don't leave me (SESH, SESH)
Don't leave, don't leave (SESH, SESH, SESH, SESH, SESH)
The song "Sanctuary" by Bones delves into themes of darkness, violence, and detachment. The lyrics paint a bleak picture of a narrator who is immersed in a world of drugs, death, and emotional emptiness. The chilling imagery of a blade on the waist, drugs in the veins, and a disregard for life sets the tone for a haunting narrative. The mention of taking lives and taking control over others, particularly through drug-induced manipulation and violence, reflects a sense of power and dominance in a chaotic world.
The lyricist paints a portrait of a woman consumed by destructive behaviors, seeking solace or validation in dangerous substances and acts. The character's nihilistic view on love, relationships, and existence is depicted through their actions and words. It's a jarring exploration of nihilism and self-destructive tendencies, with a focus on the absence of genuine connection and a yearning for something deeper that remains unfulfilled.
The singer's detachment from social norms and conventional desires is apparent throughout the song, with a rejection of material possessions, societal expectations, and traditional notions of success. Instead, there's a preference for solitude, darkness, and a reckless lifestyle. The references to living among the bums, avoiding wealth and comfort, and finding solace in isolation highlight a desire for authenticity and a disdain for superficiality.
The repeating plea of "Oh, please don't go" interspersed with calls to "SESH" reinforces a sense of desperation, longing, and perhaps a plea for a connection or salvation in a world devoid of meaning. The juxtaposition of violence and vulnerability, detachment and yearning, creates a complex emotional landscape that invites listeners to reflect on themes of mortality, purpose, and the search for sanctuary in a chaotic world. The song ultimately leaves the listener with a sense of unease, challenging them to confront the darker aspects of human nature and the quest for meaning in a world marked by confusion and turmoil.

YUNG LEAVES $B better? They’re Three 6 clones. At least Bones popularized cloud rap and the emo rap scene and made the modern underground. He did something little to no one did and did it so well that he can literally dictate how the underground changes.
