Debussy's impact was far reaching. His free use of harmony, which often altogether disregarded the concepts of tertian harmony, has been cited as an influence on the rise of Jazz music later in the 20th century.

All the people here who never saw snow. It's really pretty when you're looking at the sky.. especially at night when the moon is out. It's like something out of a romance movie but it's real life and you're surrounded by the silence of nature and the cold of winter. It doesn't get any better than that, especially if you have a warm comfy winter outfit that feels like a bed when you lay down in the snow

I haven't seen that much snow in my life, but I do remember seeing soft falling slow snowflakes sometimes floating not always straight down, but circling around upwards too. Isn't it amazing how this dancing is captured by Debussy?
Michael Jackson introduced me to love of Debussy's music.
Have blessed holidays everyone.

I love Debussy's The Snow is Dancing! It is absolutely remarkable that he could compose a piece of music with pretty much no key at all:)
