¡Da-ddy!
¡Da-ddy!
Quiere mambo, azótalo
Quiere mambo, agárralo
Quiere mambo, suénalo
¡Da-ddy!
Quiere mambo, agárralo
Quiere mambo, suéltalo
¡Da-ddy!
Pegajoso, peligroso
That's me (jaja)
Los números hablan por sí solos
Conteo regresivo
Come on!
Tres, dos, uno, ¡tra!
Quiere mambo, azótalo
Quiere mambo, agárralo
Quiere mambo, suénalo
¡Da-ddy!
Quiere mambo, azótalo
Quiere mambo, agárralo
Quiere mambo, suéltalo
¡Da-ddy!
Yo
Con más peso va el segundo verso
Pa' quitarle la máscara a los perversos
Mi soldados con el grito 'e malianteo
(¡Oh!)

The song "King Daddy" by Daddy Yankee is an upbeat and energetic track that celebrates the artist's success and dominance in the genre of reggaeton. The opening lines of the song, "Quiere mambo, azótalo / Quiere mambo, agárralo / Quiere mambo, suénalo," translate to "He wants mambo, shake it / He wants mambo, grab it / He wants mambo, hear it." The repetition of these phrases adds to the overall catchiness of the song and encourages the listener to join in on the celebration.
As the song progresses, Daddy Yankee declares himself the "shooting guard del reggaetón," asserting that no one can "tira mejor que yo" (shoot better than me). He also addresses those who try to imitate him, stating that "Tú quieres ser como yo ahora," but acknowledging that like LeBron James can never do what Michael Jordan did, no one can match his talent in the realm of reggaeton.
One interesting aspect of the song is the use of "soldados" (soldiers) and "malianteo" (outlaw behavior) in the lyrics, which suggests a connection between the music industry and street culture. Another noteworthy element is the use of vocal effects and sampling, particularly in the chorus where Daddy Yankee's voice is layered and manipulated to create a powerful and dynamic sound.
Overall, "King Daddy" is a high-energy track that celebrates Daddy Yankee's talent and success while also implying a deeper connection to the street culture that has influenced reggaeton as a genre.
