The lyrics of Ebi's song "Shabe Niloufari" depict a longing and yearning for someone who is not present. The song begins with the lines: "I must start with your scent / I will sing you with the wet sound of rain / I will fly to you, like a canary watching you." These lines convey the singer's desire to capture the essence of this person through their scent and to express their feelings for them through their voice.
The chorus of the song repeats the line "I reach you again," emphasizing the singer's determination to find a way to connect with this person despite their absence. The lyrics also highlight the power this person holds over the singer: "Your scent gives my songs / they become full of your name, my love / from flowers and poems and stars." This suggests that the singer's creativity and inspirations flow from the presence of this person, even though they are not physically there.
The song continues to express the singer's longing to reach this person, as they bridge the gap between them through excuses, nightfall, and memories. The lyrics evoke a sense of melancholy and yearning, as the singer knows they are not with this person, yet their presence lingers in their thoughts and dreams.
Overall, "Shabe Niloufari" portrays the emotional journey of someone longing for another person and their desperate attempts to bridge the gap between them, using scents, songs, and memories.
