Så spiller vi en sull
Og nynner på vår vandringer
Gjennom mørke imot muld
En gammel stubb om kjærlighet
Og den er god som gull
Så spiller vi harmonika
Så spiller vi en trall
Den ene dagen høyt til hest
Den neste knall og fall
Men visa er den samme
Du kommer di du skal
Dit du skal
Så spiller vi harmonika
Sp spiller vi en låt
For livet er en latter
Og livet er en gråt
Og det er godt å vite
Vi er i samme båt
Samme båt
The song "Så spiller vi harmonika" by Erik Bye is about the joy of playing the accordion and how music can accompany us through all the ups and downs in life. The first verse speaks of humming to oneself while walking through the darkness towards death, but the old familiar tune about love is always good, brings comfort and is precious. The second verse talks about how life can be unpredictable - one day you're riding high, the next you're down, but the song remains the same and reminds us that we'll end up where we're meant to be. In the third verse, the accordion plays a song about life being a mix of laughter and tears, but it's comforting to know that we're all in the same boat.
The song's melody is simple and catchy, and Erik Byes's gentle voice combined with the accordion creates a warm and comforting atmosphere for the listener. The lyrics themselves are poetic and philosophical, with a focus on the cyclical nature of life and how music can provide a source of solace during difficult times.

En godt utført hentesveis slår de fleste sveiser på en god dag, gammelt jungelord.

It is such a beautiful song! I only came to know about this song when Mr Sigmund Groven played this piece at his harmonica concert in Singapore last Sunday (3/3/19).
