I think this is literally the most heartbreaking scene in all 3 movies.

Gimli, ready to charge back in and fight to the death to avenge a fallen friend, like a true Son of Durin.

Legolas, who cannot comprehend the permanence of death.

Boromir, for understanding the importance of grief.

Poor little Pippin, who probably feels like this is his fault because he alerted the orcs to their presence.

And Frodo, who made the decision to take the road through Moria in the first place.

PIPPIN: I didn't think it would end this way.

GANDALF: End? No, the journey doesn't end here. Death is just another path, one that we all must take. The grey rain-curtain of this world rolls back, and all turns to silver glass, and then you see it.

PIPPIN: What? Gandalf? See what?

GANDALF: White shores, and beyond, a far green country under a swift sunrise.

PIPPIN: Well, that isn't so bad.

GANDALF: No. No, it isn't.

...and the Aragorn ,u can see in his eyes how sad he is ,but he know what they don't have the time yet to cry... And thats makes the scene even more emotional

@meanbird5503

And here come the Waterworks 😥

@shawnthompson2303

@@trancerklubb5379 "Legolas.... Get them up."

The way Viggo delivers the line is just awesome. "Now it comes to me, I guess."
