Ferry Corsten Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Everything is beautiful..
Let the music carry you..
Maybe I will follow you, forever!
Nowhere else I'd rather be,
When you're lying next to me..
Let the music carry us, together!
In Ferry Corsten's song "Forever," the lyrics revolve around the concept of beauty, music, and love. The repetition of the word "beautiful" emphasizes the idea that everything in the world has a beauty that is worth recognizing and appreciating. The song encourages listeners to let the music carry them away, which is a metaphor for letting oneself be swept up in the moment and enjoying life to the fullest. The line "Maybe I will follow you, forever!" is a declaration of love and a promise to stay by the side of the person who makes life beautiful.
The verse "Nowhere else I'd rather be, When you're lying next to me.." emphasizes the importance of intimacy in human relationships. Being close to someone and feeling their presence is often the most important thing in life. The song suggests that when the music is playing, it can bring people together and help them feel more connected to one another. "Let the music carry us, together!" is a statement that captures this sentiment perfectly.
Overall, "Forever" is a song that encourages listeners to appreciate the beauty of the world, enjoy the moments we have together, and cherish the people who make life worth living. The lyrics remind us that life can be fleeting, but love and music are two things that can make it worth living.

I've been waiting
Living life in rewind like I'm frozen in time and place
And I'm fading
Falling further behind every step that I try to take
I've been hiding
From the heat of the sun, watching everyone come and go
Let some light in
Cuz I can't see a thing and there's so much I need to know
I wanna know you better
I wanna take you for a ride
Go on a wild adventure
Not let a moment pass me by
Turn out the lights
Turn up the bass
I wanna be front and center
Bring on the night
There's no time to waste
I wanna live forever
Turn out the lights
Turn up the bass
I wanna be front and center
Bring on the night
There's no time to waste
I'm gonna live forever
Can you hear it?
Like the beat of your heart, an electrical spark inside
Let the feeling
From the force of the sound lift you up off the ground tonight
I'm addicted
It's like a chemical high, yea I feel so alive right now
Take a picture
Cuz it's all gonna pass
This is too good to last, and I'm moving too fast to slow down
Turn out the lights
Turn up the bass
I wanna be front and center
Bring on the night
There's no time to waste
I wanna live forever
Turn out the lights
Turn up the bass
I wanna be front and center
Bring on the night
There's no time to waste
I'm gonna live forever

She is beautiful the way she is and doesn't have any issues with her body like many people nowadays. That's what adds more points to her beauty.
