Overall Meaning

The song Muérdesela by Hamlet is a powerful protest against domestic violence, toxic masculinity and the oppression of women. The lyrics describe a man who abuses a woman, an all too common scenario in our society. The opening verse speaks of a meaningless story without end, a man mistreating a woman, with no justice to be found. The next verse makes reference to a pig without his patron saint and a woman with no future. The man is described as killing her mercilessly without pity.
