The lyrics of Joyce Moreno's song "Nós e o Mar" describe the experience of spending a day by the sea. The song portrays a sense of longing and appreciation for the beauty of nature. The first verse talks about the passing of another day, while expressing a desire for it to never end. The sun symbolizes life itself and the joy of witnessing it reach its end.
The second verse captures the essence of looking out at the sea, marveling at its vastness and the waves that come and go. The lyrics mention looking up at the beautiful sky and observing someone's lost gaze, suggesting a moment of deep contemplation and introspection. The blue sea signifies tranquility and serenity.
The chorus reflects the arrival of a calm and smiling wave, symbolizing a moment of happiness and contentment. The repetition of phrases in the chorus emphasizes the cyclical nature of life and the continuous movement of the sea.
In the last verse, the lyrics mention the moon rising and a floating camellia in the sky, creating a dreamlike and poetic image. The camellia represents delicacy and beauty, complementing the sense of serenity and wonderment expressed throughout the song.
Overall, "Nós e o Mar" celebrates the connection between humanity and the natural world, highlighting the peacefulness and beauty found in a day spent by the sea.

Lá se vai mais um dia assim,
Another day goes by like this,
E a vontade que não tenha fim, este sol
And the desire that doesn't have an end, this sun
É viver, ver chegar ao fim,
It's living, seeing it come to an end,
Essa onda que cresceu, morreu aos seus pés
This wave that grew, died at your feet
E olhar pra o céu que é tão bonito,
And looking at the sky that is so beautiful,
E olhar pra esse olhar perdido
And looking at that lost look
Nesse mar azul
In this blue sea
Uma onda nasceu, calma desceu sorrindo,
A wave was born, calm descended smiling
Lá vem vindo
Here it comes
Lá se vai mais um dia assim,
Another day goes by like this,
Nossa praia que não tem mais fim, acabou
Our beach that has no end, it's over
Vai subindo uma lua assim,
A moon is rising like this,
E a camélia que flutua nua no céu
And the camellia that floats naked in the sky
