Koji Kondo is perhaps the most recognizable name from the bunch, simply because he is the man responsible for such musical accomplishments as the Super Mario, Zelda and Star Fox soundtracks many Nintendo fans have grown up with. The others have worked on several other Nintendo projects, most notably the other Zelda games.

I find it interesting how much of a polar opposite Makar’s awakening is compared to Medli’s. Medli’s awakening was big and emotional, meanwhile Makar’s was pretty quick and accepted his role extremely fast.
@quag_02
Yeah I've thought about this before, I think it's simply because Medli herself is an emotional character. Despite being impressively courageous, she seems to have confidence issues and even doubts herself often. So it was a huge moment for her to realize how important she is.
But when it comes to Makar I feel like he's already ahead of the curb a bit, because of how close he is to the Deku Tree, who is wise and knows lots of things
@thx4chrckingin
@Quag I like this explanation. It always bothered me how... easy Makar did it. I have a bias for Medli though, so...
@MajorLinkGaming
Don't forget Makar also has courage.
@gameplayboy5686
Medli fainted, had a vision, came to a sad realization, probably remembered her whole life while sad music was playing, and left with regret. Makar just said OK let's get on with it. Despite there being so little depth to makar he's one of my favorite characters.
@kingkrysen
Medli : mature, emotional and deep
Makar : cute, childlike, and aloof
The sage theme even fit and match both of them

I don't know why, when Medli played her prayer song with her predecessor I thought it was wholesome, but when Makar did his for some reason that cheery tune made me tear up when I first heard it. I still don't know why, maybe it was because it was the last time I'll see a kokiri in the franchise.

i remember playing this game without memory card like over 20years ago. was a hard half year but yeah, it sadly wasnt that usefull at the end since i also didnt had a second controller or a multiplayer game to play with my best friend back than. still it was a really nice time and i appreciate and will for ever remember the banjo-tooie and spyro gameplay we had on his n64/playstation <3 even as far than the football playing, the swimming, the chilling trough the neighborhood and the stadium 1&2 battles when it was rainy outside * ___ *
@Cell_reverted_egg
No more Kokiri and no skull kids anymore. NOOOOOOOOO!!
@Silvergrove41
Just wanna make people aware
Makar was most likely a reincarnation of fado and not a descendant. Fado did die when he was a child after all so he couldn’t have any kids (he was always a child being a kokiri and all)
