Viidakkolaulu
Klamydia Lyrics

Tarzanin kotona tuoksuu kahville
Cheetah raapustaa kikkeleitä pahville
Janen lehdestä se niitä kopioi
Tarzan moista hommaa vastaan kapinoi

Kääpiöheimon pomo istuu rannalla
Leijona vieressä on varustettu kirppupannalla
Kääpiöheimon pomo istuu rannalla
Leijona vieressä on varustettu kirppupannalla

Meno viidakossa täysin muuttunut on
Syynä siihen on sivistys mahdoton
Meno viidakossa täysin muuttunut on
Syynä siihen on sivistys mahdoton

Tulinkohan mä ojasta vai allikosta
Mietin kun kokistölkki lentää kaislikosta
Neonvalot tietä diskoon osoittaa
Lättytissiset nekrut siellä posottaa

Norsukin makaa maassa turvallaan
Walkmanin stereot korvillaan
Norsukin makaa maassa turvallaan
Walkmanin stereot korvillaan

Meno viidakossa täysin muuttunut on
Syynä siihen on sivistys mahdoton
Meno viidakossa täysin muuttunut on
Syynä siihen on sivistys mahdoton

Sivistys mahdoton, joo, joo, joo
Sivistys mahdoton, joo, joo, joo

Sivistys mahdoton, joo, joo, joo
Sivistys mahdoton, joo, joo, joo

Overall Meaning

"Viidakkolaulu" by Klamydia is a song that talks about how the jungle has changed due to civilization. The first two stanzas mention Tarzan, Cheetah, and Jane, who are characters from a popular jungle-themed movie. They illustrate how Tarzan opposes Cheetah scratching his genitals, and Jane makes copies of her leaves. These lines are symbolic of how people from the jungle were forced to adopt the Western way of living. The next two stanzas mention a dwarf chief sitting with a lion, both equipped with flea collars. This emphasizes how even the animals are not spared from the impact of civilization.

The third stanza talks about a person who is unsure if they are coming from a ditch or a spring. The imagery used indicates that the person's surroundings are littered with trash. They also mention neon disco lights aimed at a direction, which shows how technology has found its way into the jungle. The next stanza talks about elephants lying on their sides, listening to music on their headphones, further emphasizing the impact of technology on their way of life. The chorus repeats the phrase, "sivistys mahdoton," which means "civilization impossible," to drive home the idea that the jungle has changed forever due to Westernization.
