Kryštof Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Měl štěstí, že žil v tomhle temnym tichym hrobu.
Kdyby uměl mluvit, řek' by snad: (pápápápá)
"Já jsem nechtěnej, nechte mě spát. (pápápápá)
Nechte mě tu být, možná že nebudu chtít žít."
Malej Kryštof chtěl jen svýho tátu a svoji mámu.
A zatím chudák měl, v popelnici haldu starejch krámů.
Zimou schoulenej: "Nechtě mě spát. (pápápápá)
Nechte mě tu být, možná že nebudu chtít žít."
Malej Kryštof snil o světě, co zná i lidskou něhu.
A teď utopen spí v řece, která měla stovky břehů.
Kdyby uměl mluvit, řek' by snad: (pápápápá)
"Já jsem nechtěněj, nechte mě spát. (pápápápá)
Tak nechte mě tu být, možná že nebudu chtít žít."
The lyrics of "Malej Krystof" by Krystof tell the story of a boy named Krystof who lives in a dumpster since the day he was born. He considers himself lucky to live in this dark and silent grave. If he could speak, he would say that he is unwanted and begs to be left alone to sleep. He longs for his parents, who he never knew, and is surrounded by piles of old things in the dumpster. He dreams of a world where he could experience love and tenderness. Sadly, he drowns in a river with hundreds of banks, and if he could speak, he would plead to be left alone to rest, as he never wanted to live in the first place.
The song touches on the harsh realities of life for many, highlighting the struggle of feeling unwanted and unloved, which can lead to a person feeling as though they have no place in the world. The lyrics also speak to the fact that sometimes the very people we long for are the ones who are unable or unwilling to care for us. Overall, the song is a poignant reflection on the struggles faced by those who are marginalized and forgotten.
