Winds Of Change
Kutless Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Wrapped around you like they're chains
Restricting all your dreams
Do you wonder if there is a way?
A way to set you free, set you free
So tell me all your dreams
And tell me all your fears
It's not another way
That'll end up the same, for it's under my control
Do you feel the winds of change?
Soon this weight will fall away and take you to a place
Only found through these winds of change
A breeze that's new and free, new and free
So tell me all your dreams
And tell me all your fears
And what you're longing for the most
It's not another way
That'll end up the same, for it's under my control
And I'll be the one who you can cry to
The one who will give you wings
I will give you wings
Someday we'll sail away
Mounted up on wings like eagles
We will run and will not fade away
So tell me all your dreams
And tell me all your fears
And what you're longing for the most
It's not another way
That'll end up the same, for it's under my control
And I'll be the one who you can cry to
The one who will give you wings
I will give you wings
The one who will give you wings
I will give you wings
To set you free
The one who will give you wings
I will give you wings
To set you free
The one who will give you wings
The lyrics of Kutless's song "Winds of Change" talk about the struggles of life and how it feels like it's restricting our dreams. We all have moments in life where we feel trapped and unable to move forward, and this song speaks about finding a way to break free from those chains. The song suggests that the only way to break free is by trusting in something greater than ourselves and surrendering control to it. The idea is that by letting go and trusting, we can feel the winds of change and be taken to a new and free place.
The lyrics of the song suggest that we can share our dreams and fears with this greater power, and it will listen and guide us. By giving ourselves over to this power, we can have someone to cry to and someone who will give us wings to soar. The song is hopeful in its message that we can break free from the restrictions of our lives and achieve our dreams by trusting in something greater than ourselves.
