1) The Noir Pop/Rock group Lillith actually started as a book project between Camilla Hell and the guitarist Per-Christian Frantzen. They met at a Music/Theater High School, and started collaborating when moving to Oslo. But early on they became increasingly drawn to music and after a few rehearsals Lillith was formed. At this time the music were more like a twisted mix of pop and punk. In 2008 they recruited the bassist and cellist Gregorius Grim Knockelkatt, when meeting him randomly in studio for a demo recording. Lillith is a Norwegian indie band. Their debut album was released in 2010, and the band can finally announce the eagerly-awaited second album to be released this year, 2020. This upcoming album has a far more lighter and melodic atmosphere and shows how the band keep developing their signature sound. The new song material has almost a cinematic feeling to it, inspired by the noir pop genre. This has been noted in an English review of the bands single "Beautiful Dreamers", pointing out the interesting noir pop movement happening in Scandinavia at this moment (Nordic Music Review). Their musical influences are wide spread, from trip hop, punk cabaret to alternative folk, but they all prefer the dark side of the music scene, exemplified by bands like The Doors and Velvet underground. Lillith promises a new album in 2020, with a couple of single releases ahead!!!

What all that laughing for
What all that living for
What all that waiting for and
Ain't there another time
Ain't there another place
Ain't there a world without that pain?
In Lillith's song "A World Without That Pain," the repetitive phrases "What all that crying for, what all that laughing for, what all that living for, what all that waiting for" seem to question the purpose of the emotions and actions that fill our lives. The refrain "ain't there another time, ain't there another place, ain't there a world without that pain?" highlights both a sense of hope for something better and a sense of dissatisfaction with the current state of existence. The idea of a world without pain suggests a desire for a utopia where humanity can be free of suffering, but also points to the necessity of pain as an inevitable part of the human experience.
The lyrics of "A World Without That Pain" evoke a mood of introspection and questioning, inviting listeners to reflect on their own motivations and experiences. The repetition of the "what all that [emotion/action] for" structure throughout the song creates a sense of meditation, encouraging the listener to consider the underlying meaning and purpose of their own feelings and actions. Overall, Lillith's song offers a poignant meditation on the nature of pain and the human experience.
