Llorca is Ludovic Llorca (born in 1974), the resident "soulman" of acclaimed French label F Communications, the successful company which has introduced the world to the likes of (label co-founder and techno producer) Laurent Garnier and the forward-thinking jazz of St. Germain (now signed to the legendary Blue Note label). Since signing with the label in 1997 on the strength of an unsolicited demo, Llorca has gone on to become a strong artist for F Communications.
INDIGO BLUE
Llorca Lyrics

Oh indigo in the sentimental blues
Oh indigo
Just keep running through my mind,
Just an old refrain that keeps on running through my brain
It's blues don't you know
Yes another sad refrain, I mean
I had to keep pushin' and askin'
Don't you see?
I thought you were the one for me
Blues
Always gets me in the sentimental blue
Oh indigo
Sophisticated swing
The moon hangs too low
Look to the falling rain
Let it wash away your pain
Ooh indigo
A simple word, a whisper
The smell of her perfume
I ask myself
Why I had to keep on
Pushin' and askin'
Blues
Always gets me in the sentimental blue
Fucking-drunken-never-thinking-blues
Blue
Indigo blues
The song Indigo Blues by Llorca is a melancholic and nostalgic track that speaks about the sadness and regret of lost love. The lyrics revolve around the word "indigo," which represents the feeling of sadness and the color of the sky at twilight. The song starts with the line "It's the new indigo," suggesting that the singer is feeling a new level of sadness.
The first verse speaks of the word "indigo" as a sad refrain that constantly runs through the mind. The singer couldn't wait for the person he/she loved but had to keep pushing and asking. The chorus line "Blues always get me in the sentimental blue" encapsulates the theme of the song, which is the singer's sorrowful state of mind.
The second verse talks about the sophisticated swing of indigo and the pain washing away with the falling rain. The smell of a lover's perfume is also mentioned, adding to the sentimental nature of the song. The line "Fucking-drunken-never-thinking-blues" breaks the melancholic mood and adds a bit of anger to the tone. The song ends with the repetition of "Indigo Blues" signifying the enduring feeling of sadness in the singer's heart.
Overall, Indigo Blues is a beautifully crafted song that speaks deeply about the pain of lost love and the enduring nature of sadness.
