En La Mira
Los Pericos Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
El tiempo me arrastro hasta aca
Si ya se, ya se, ya se
Todo es por amor
Pero es hora de cerrar este adiós
Cuando yo
Me acordaba de tu
Devoción
Nuestro mundo iba a ser mejor
Llego la traicion
Ya te tengo en la mira
Deseando poner fin al rencor
Mis palabras como balas prontas a salir
Transformando en placer el dolor
Tus excusas van al norte
Y tus huellas para el sur
Te creí sentí pasar
Nuestra vida
Derramada por ahí
Derramada para siempre
Que dolor es para mí
Quise comprender
Te trate de entender
Que paso por que se dio
El lugar a la traición
Ya te tengo en la mira
Te tengo y ya no hay vuelta atrás
La verdad es que dolió
No te quiero lastimar
Pero es hora de cerrar este adiós
Quise se comprender
Te trate de entender
Que paso por que se dio
El lugar a la traición.
The lyrics of Los Pericos's song En La Mira depict a person who has been betrayed in a relationship. They have been hurt deeply, and they are now ready to confront their betrayer. The singer speaks directly to their former partner, telling them that they now have them in their sights. They express that they understand that this all happened because of love, but it is time to let go and say goodbye.
The singer reminisces about a time when they were devoted to each other and believed that their world would be better. However, the betrayal has shattered that belief, and they feel the need to confront their former partner. They are filled with anger and resentment, but at the same time, they want to transform this pain into pleasure. The words they speak are like bullets, aimed at their former partner, as they try to put an end to the bitterness and hurt.
In conclusion, the lyrics of En La Mira convey a raw and intense emotion of a person who has been betrayed in love. It tells a story of a relationship that has gone sour and the aftermath of the hurtful betrayal. It's a song about closure, but at the same time, it's a warning that every action has its consequences.
