After releasing "El Poder De La Guadaña" in 2004, Ariel and other key members left the band, starting a feud with their former label Magenta Records due to unpaid royalties. The band continues active with a different line-up, while Ariel and the other members formed a new band, El Traidor y los Pibes.

hay una remiseria
donde para la gilada
cuando un viaje nesecita
Esta abierta todo el dia
y tambien toda la noche
ellos tiene muchos viajes
Con cinco pesos me tomo un viaje
con cinco pesos me voy a viajar
con cinco pesos me tomo un viaje
cuando me subo no quiero bajar
La gilada se la pasa
meta viaje todo el dia
ellos pagan cinco pesos
y lo toman en la esquina
Con cinco pesos me tomo un viaje
con cinco pesos me voy a viajar
con cinco pesos me tomo un viaje
cuando me subo no quiero bajar
The song El Viaje by Los Pibes Chorros explores the realities of life in a villa (slum) where transport is scarce and expensive for many residents. The lyrics speak of a remisería (a type of taxi service in Argentina) in the middle of the villa that acts as a lifeline for people who need to travel. Despite not having their own cars, the remises (taxi drivers) are always available to take passengers to their destinations. The song emphasizes the importance of the remisería to the people in the villa, who rely on this service every day.
The song's chorus, which is repeated throughout, describes how a trip costs only five pesos, an amount that many in the villa can afford. The repetition of the line "con cinco pesos me tomo un viaje" emphasizes how important this service is for people to travel to places they need to go, whether it's work or elsewhere. It also suggests that the remisería is the only affordable and reliable way of travelling for many residents.
The song's lyrics reflect the realities of life in the villas of Buenos Aires, where many people face poverty and struggle to make ends meet. The remisería acts as a symbol of hope and opportunity for people who need to travel for work, education or healthcare. It is a song that captures the spirit of the hardworking people who live in these communities, as well as the ingenuity and resourcefulness necessary to survive in difficult circumstances.
