Rijeka Bez Imena
Maria Lyrics

Neka krene moja bol da te nađe
Ružo svih vjetrova
Samo ja staze preko vode znam
Dan po dan i noć po noć
Ja zidam svoju bol
Kao most na rijeci za tobom
Da te u dušu zna, tako baš kao ja?
Tugo nevjero, moja nevoljo
Kako da te vratim?
Da te zagrlim, k'o da je prvi put
Rijeke suza da ti pozlatim
Tugo nevjero, eh, da mogu to
Ja bih opet s tobom bilo gdje
Neka ide bol na moju dušu što za tobom umirem
Tugo nevjero, moja nevoljo
Kako da te vratim?
Da te zagrlim, k′o da je prvi put
Rijeke suza da ti pozlatim
Tugo nevjero (Moja nevoljo)
Ja bih opet s tobom bilo gdje
Neka ide bol na moju dušu što za tobom umirem
(Tugo nevjero, tugo nevjero)
In the song "Rijeka Bez Imena," Maria sings about her pain and suffering as she tries to forget someone, whose name is not mentioned. She compares her pain to a river without a name, and hopes it will find the person she is trying to forget, as if it were a message in a bottle. Maria refers to this person as the "rose of all winds" or someone who is loved by all and is to be cherishing. She believes that she alone knows how to cross the waters of sorrow to find this person.
Maria expresses her ongoing love for this person when she asks who else loves them like she does, and who truly knows them like she does. She tries to build a bridge over the water of her pain leading to the person, day and night, brick by brick. She sings about her deep regret and sorrow over her past decisions asking herself how can she bring back this person to restart their love. She desires to have them in her arms again, remembering it as if it was the first time, and turn her tears into gold for them. She repeats her words of regret, longing, and pain in the song's final stanza.
Overall, the song captures the universal themes of heartbreak and regret, which are beautifully expressed by Maria's soulful voice and the melancholic melody of the song, with the lyrics carrying the elements of nostalgia, longing, and pain.

Rijekom bez imena, kao val
I am flowing aimlessly like a wave without a name, searching for you
Neka krene moja bol da te nađe
Let my pain find you, wherever you are
Ružo svih vjetrova
You are the rose of all winds, the one I have been searching for
Samo ja staze preko vode znam
Only I know the path across the water to you
Dan po dan i noć po noć
Day by day and night by night
Ja zidam svoju bol
I am building my pain
Kao most na rijeci za tobom
Like a bridge over the river, leading to you
Ko još te voli k′o ja
Who else loves you like I do?
Da te u dušu zna, tako baš kao ja?
Does anyone else truly understand you, like I do?
Tugo nevjero, moja nevoljo
My sorrow and pain
Kako da te vratim?
How can I bring you back?
Da te zagrlim, k'o da je prvi put
To hold you as if it's the first time
Rijeke suza da ti pozlatim
To turn my tears into gold for you
Eh, da mogu to
Oh, if I could do that
Ja bih opet s tobom bilo gdje
I would be with you anywhere, once again
Neka ide bol na moju dušu što za tobom umirem
Let the pain go to my soul, as I die for you

samu10esc i tried to translate as good as i could haha
Along the river, without a name like a tide
let my pain descend
to find you, rose of all winds
only i know the path across the river
day by day and night by night
i pave my own pain
like a bridge on a river, after you
who loves you like i do?
to know you in your soul like i do
Ref.
sadness, betrayal, my trouble
how do i bring you back?
to hug you like t'was the first time
to grace you with rivers of my tears
sadness, disbelief, if only i could
i would go with you wherever
let the pain onto my soul
for i die without you
@amperko
(Not literally translated)
Down the nameless river I'm letting my pain to sail like a wave to find you,
But I am the only one who knows path through the water, my rose...
Day by day, night by night, I build my pain like a bridge on a river,
Who loves you as much as I do, who knows you as much as I do...
Hey, my pain! Hey, my suffer! How can I get you back...
To hug you like it's the first time,
To fill that river with gold instead of tears...
Hey, pain! Hey, suffer! If I could do that,
I would go with you to any place, again,
Now, let pain take my soul
That's dying for you...

Lyrics in English:
Down the river without a name
Let my pain flow
To find you, rose of all winds
Only I know the paths across the water
Day by day and night by night
I build my pain
Like a bridge on the river after you
Who else loves you like I
That knows your soul
Exactly the way that I do
Sad infidelity, my trouble
How can I bring you back
To hug you like it's the first time
To gild you rivers of tears
Sad infidelity, eh If only I could
I would go with you anywhere again
Let the pain go into my soul
That dies for you

This song is an eternal masterpiece. Please come back to Eurovision soon, Bosnia & Herzegovina. Mnogo mnogo nam nedostajete. Veliki pozdrav iz Kalifornije.
@el_naif
Every Bosnian entry between 2006-2012 represented all shades of melancholy: love, loss, despair, passion, happiness, madness, rage, grief and the realization that life goes by quicker than you think.

Are you sure that Pokušaj and Thunder & Lightning represented those emotions...??

An underrated Balkan ballad, simple, traditional and heartwarming. Back in the days when Bosnia & Herzegovina were quite a strong powerhouse in Eurovision!
@zlatan_2197
I read your comment every time I come back to listen to this song, and it makes me both happy and sad. We're such a small, underdeveloped country that we're really not used to be leaders in anything, and yet in Eurovision we really were powerhouse as you said, it was one time a year when I felt that we were much stronger and more important country that we really are. But we can't send contenders anymore due to the huge debt Bosnian national television has to the European broadcasting union, which is nothing but another example of countries inner complexity and inefficiency.
