Živim a znam da te nemam
You'll never know
How much I loved you
You'll never know
How much I need you
Tu već drugo skrivam bol
I onaj stih iz moje pjesme:
Ti si k'o na ranu sol
Jer ja vjerujem u ljubav
To što nisi htjela ti
A ovom srcu tek ostaje da sanja
I ne dam da se probudi
Jer ja vjerujem u ljubav
To što nisi htjela ti
A ovom srcu tek ostaje da sanja
I ne dam da se probudi
You'll never know
How much I loved you
You'll never know
How much I need you
Ako mi pogledaš u srce
Tu zauvijek živiš ti
Za mene svijet bez tebe
Kao da ne postoji
Jer ja vjerujem u ljubav
Baš onako kao ti
A ovom srcu tek ostaje da sanja
I ne dam da se probudi
Jer ja vjerujem u ljubav
Baš onako kao ti
A ovom srcu tek ostaje da sanja
I ne dam da se probudi
Ne, nije bol to što te trebam
Živim a znam da te nemam
You'll never know
How much I loved you
You'll never know
How much I need you
Ne, nije bol
The song Vjerijem u Ljubav by Dragonfly feat. Dao Topic is a heartfelt ballad that explores the pain of unrequited love. In the first verse, the singer laments that although they need the object of their affection, they cannot have them. The chorus reiterates this sentiment, with the singer bemoaning that the person they love will never know how much they care about them. The second verse continues in the same vein, with the singer revealing that when they look into the eyes of the person they love, they hide their pain. The bridge features the line "Ti si k'o na ranu sol," which translates to "You're like salt on a wound," a poignant image that emphasizes the singer's anguish.
The chorus is repeated twice more, with the singer expressing their belief in love and their resolve to continue dreaming of the person they love, despite the pain it causes them. The final verse is a plea to the person they love, asking them to look into the singer's heart and see that they will always hold a special place there. The concluding lines repeat the sentiment of the first verse, with the singer acknowledging that it hurts to need someone they cannot have.
Overall, Vjerijem u Ljubav is a touching portrayal of unrequited love, with the lyrics painting a vivid picture of the singer's pain and longing.

Ne, nije bol to što te trebam
Samo je praznina u mom srcu
Živim a znam da te nemam
Samo se nadam da ćeš se vratiti
Ako mi pogledaš u oci
I'm hiding a different pain
Tu već drugo skrivam bol
And that line from my song: You're like salt on a wound
Jer ja vjerujem u ljubav
Because I believe in love
To što nisi htjela ti
Even though you didn't want it
A ovom srcu tek ostaje da sanja
And this heart of mine can only dream
I ne dam da se probudi
I won't let it wake up
Ako mi pogledaš u srce
If you look into my heart
Tu zauvijek živiš ti
You live there forever
Za mene svijet bez tebe
For me, the world without you
Kao da ne postoji
Feels like it doesn't exist
Ne, nije bol to što te trebam
No, it's not the pain of needing you
You'll never know
You'll never know
How much I loved you
How much I loved you
How much I need you

Maybe the best ever from Croatia! A touch of indie and rock. Always great in ESC. A BIG hit in Croatia, they loved it. Underrated, so much better than e.g. 2009

I get goosebumps every time the title line of the song comes! Like on 1:05! Almost eargasmic! 👂💥 The vocalist's raspy voice, the melody and the guitar on the background!! 😍🎸
Also, the girl's hair is gorgeous.
Among the best Croatia's entries.
