Otra Tarde
Melocos Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Ésta es otra tarde, te he vuelto a chillar,

Overall Meaning

The lyrics describe a situation where the singer and their partner are constantly arguing and getting into conflicts. The opening lines set the scene for another typical evening when the singer has once again ended up shouting and fighting with their partner, with the same cycle repeating itself. The singer asks their partner why they keep insisting that things will change when they seem to always fall back into the same pattern.

In the second verse, the singer talks about feeling better on Fridays, but that the next week never seems to actually arrive. The partner calls the singer strange and the singer reflects that even when everything goes wrong, it's not necessarily so bad. The chorus repeats the question of what the singer needs to do to be enough for their partner and concludes that they are only valuable for loving their partner. The last lines of the song suggest that it's better for things to stay the same, even though they may not be ideal.

Overall, the lyrics seem to be expressing frustration with cyclical, repetitive behavior in a relationship, while acknowledging that the singer will continue to love their partner despite the difficulties.
