The lyrics of NMB48's song "Nagiichi" describe a sunny day at the beach with friends, where the main vocalist is lying down watching a swimwear show. She's admiring the blue of the sea and how it reaches the sky. She sees scattered jewels shining, and if they distract her, she suggests that she might as well steal them. Being around this environment every day has made her get used to things she treasures so much in that place. She's confident that she will keep the memories forever.
The song's chorus is a question about which girl is the cutest on the beach. She asks the person she's addressing who they would choose. She then suggests that they put it all out there and ask openly who they will spend their summer with. She asks them to picture themselves in love with someone and see how far they have to go to show their affection. She reassures her friend that they're not lovers or friends, but they're free to choose their distance.
