Najwa Karam Lyrics

The Arabic lyrics of Najwa Karam's song Al Toba speaks of the pain and hurt caused by love, and the desire to move on and embrace forgiveness. The song opens with the lines, "Al Toba ma baqa eida/Lau'ani keteer el gharam" (Repentance is no longer a feast/ Love has hurt me too much). The lyrics speak of how others judged the situation and said, "Allah ysa'idha haram" (May God help her, it is forbidden). The singer is aware that the world is a fickle place and people come and go, leaving behind shattered hearts. She wants love to ignite in her heart to erase the pain but knows that it is time for repentance.
The singer then makes a resolution to move on and embrace forgiveness. The lines, "Qilt lihali, biddi Tuba/wa ma addi habb wazoub/Tari ala albi maktoub/huni beitak ya gharam" (I said to myself, I want to repent/ I no longer want love and its dissolution/ It is written on my heart to come home to you, O love) conveys her resolve to forget the pain and move back towards love that is safe and secure.
In summary, the song Al Toba speaks of the conflicting emotions that come with heartbreak and the desire to reconcile and embrace healing. It features melancholic and haunting melodies that perfectly complement the emotional lyrics.
