The lyrics of Ninel Conde's song "Que No Te Asombre" talk about the eternal love between two people who have been together in many lives and who will continue to love each other even after they are dead. They speak of the constant love they share, the same types of kisses that have caused new wounds, and the fact that they will still love each other even if they come back with different faces and different names. The song represents the idea of a love that goes beyond time and space, that transcends even death.
Ninel and Joan's duet has a mournful feeling to it, and the constant repetition of the phrase "que no te asombre" (don't be surprised) points towards a possible warning to the person they sing to. The tone of the song implies that the listener might not understand the depth of their love and the fact that it has been present in many different forms and lifetimes. It is almost as if they are saying that this love is too powerful to be ignored or rejected.
In conclusion, "Que No Te Asombre" is an ode to eternal love, one that exists beyond time and space. Despite the warnings in the song, the lyrics celebrate the strength of this powerful emotion and emphasize the fact that it is not something that can be easily dismissed.
