Está fue la canción que le canto el gran Pedro al gran Jorge Negrete para ver si lo apoyaba a entrar al cine, Jorge después de escucharlo le dijo que si lo ayudaría y vería la forma de como colocarlo, entonces lo presento con los hermanos Rodríguez... Y ya ustedes saben la historia; esto va para los que dicen que había enemistad entre los dos más grandes de México, hay que enaltecer a estos dos grandes de la historia de la música mundial!

A mucha gente le gusta inventar chismes. Pedro acompañó a Jorge en su último mes en el hospital en USA, incluso fue parte del cortejo fúnebre cargando el ataúd.

@@edgarcovarrubias2198 No creo que en el jorobado Jorge hizo de charro, ni tampoco en perjura, ni en carta de amor, Jorge hizo mucho más que de charro, tampoco fue charro en tiempos de inquisición y tenía mucha capacidad actoral, sólo que por sus funciones como secretario general del gremio, no tuvo tiempo. Jorge Negrete sacrificó su salud, su vida y su carrera para beneficiar a todos sus compañeros trabajadores de las cinematográficas y radiales. Es lamentable que muchos mexicanos no reconozcan la labor de Jorge Negrete, además que fue embajador cultural de Mexico dándole prestigio y categoría a la música mexicana fuera de sus fronteras. Felizmente, lo que los propios mexicanos no reconocen, lo hacen los países que el visito y en donde vistió con orgullo y gallardía, su traje nacional. Agradecer es de gente de bien, yo como chilena agradezco a Jorge Negrete por habernos dado a conocer su folclore que es muy escuchado en nuestro país.

@@edgarcovarrubias2198 Jorge Negrete tenía una deficiencia al hígado, sufría de hepatitis C, se lo descubrieron cuando entró al colegio militar a los 14 años, no le dio importancia, a esa edad los chicos no se toman en serio las enfermedades, con el tiempo eso llegó a una cirrosis hepatica que ya no tenía vuelta. El no tomaba pero el hígado es terriblemente sensible a los estados de ánimo y a los estrés. Desgraciadamente el inolvidable charro cantor estuvo sujeto a muchos problemas como líder sindical, entre otros.

Inolvidable...Tenía 9 años cuando tuve oportunidad de conocerlo personalmente, en el viejo aeropuerto de Mérida en 1957, poco antes de fallecer, inclusive me dejó cargar a su hija que tenía sentada en el gato de su brazo. También, estando con unos amigos en la avenida Paseo de Montejo, vimos pasar su avión echando humo y en pocos minutos se estrelló. La noticia se propagó de inmediato, recuerdo a mucha gente llorando su muerte. QEPD.

yo era muy pequeña pero lloré cuand sedio la notcia de su muerte hasta hoy mi cantante y actor favrito adolecente y más adulta fue mi favorito y lo es hasta hoy lo amo y rezo porque descanse en paz y doy gracias por su vida y sus recuerdos tan lindos que nos dejó...
