Peter Alexander Lyrics

Dann bist do immer so allein.
The song, "Wenn erst der Abend kommt" by Peter Alexander talks about the feeling of loneliness and fear that comes with darkness. The song talks about how when evening comes and it gets darker, the character in the song feels very alone and finds it difficult to cope with life. They are afraid that this darkness might take over their life and change who they are. The lyrics also talk about how the singer has never told anyone what they feel and that they are going through the same thing as the person they are singing to.
The song describes how the darkness can make people feel lost and disconnected from the world around them. The singer talks about how even the things they are familiar with seem strange and foreign, and the feeling of loneliness consumes them. However, when a door opens, they imagine that it might be the person they are waiting for, bringing light and hope back into their life.
