Red
Powder Lyrics
I don't wanna wear red
I just wanna be a big rock star instead
I don't wanna be digging a ditch in the middle of hell
And get a bullet through my head
I don't wanna wear red
I don't wanna wear red
I lived and died in '64
A faceless soldier in the war
But here I stand
I don't wanna wear red
I just wanna be a big rock star instead
I don't wanna be digging a ditch in the middle of hell
And get a bullet through my head
I don't wanna wear red
I don't wanna wear red
I wake up screamin' (screamin')
from past life dreamin' (dreamin')
Now what a senseless waste of time
Are we out of our minds?
I don't wanna wear red
I just wanna be a big rock star instead
I don't wanna be digging a ditch in the middle of hell
And get a bullet through my head
I don't wanna wear red
I don't wanna, I don't wanna wear red
I wake up screamin (screamin')
from past life dreaming (dreamin')
Now what a senseless waste of time
Are we out of our minds?
I don't wanna wear red
I just wanna be a big rock star instead
I don't wanna be digging a ditch in the middle of hell
And get a bullet through my head
I don't wanna wear red (repeat 4x)
Hey, hey

Daddy Garand is becoming like more and more like Lord Haley, all these fancy words like “Body Mechanics”, “Body Types”, “Accouterments”, “Training Issue”. Everyone already knows that the only way to get better at shooting is with proper body mechanics, attachments, and training. Like an m14 with a tactical shemagh on the barrel, while wearing high heels and the stock shouldered in your scrotum, Then run a 22422 drill at 80 yards. Or simply take all tips from VODA tactical. Sincerely, your favorite milsim operator

You don't pump out 10 videos a week, but what you put out is quality and well put together. Good shit man, keep on keepin' on.

Recent sub here, Dad. Glad I found this channel (it opened up a bunch of other knowledge givers to me, like Greyhive, Lucas, etc.) and binged a ton of your vids. Hope to see many more in the future; stay cool.
Also, it's so weird in the comment section and yet so darn comfy. It's like the bricks with no field day, woot!

If you've ever imagined yourself on an exotic beach and Daddy Garand brings you a mai tai wearing a plaid two piece with ammo belts strapped across his chest...go out and make those dreams a reality. But first hit that subscribe button, like, and comment because it really helps him out.

Mike, love your channel. Always straight to the point and no bullshit. You have influenced me and a few of my friends in the way we train and shoot. Keep up the good work. Outstanding

If you ever got lucky enough to not be in the SCIF when GarandThumb drops that fresh content, hit that thumbs up button.

New to your channel, watched a few vids and am impressed. I like the honest straight shooting about components and info. Not many OP’s are like that. I watch a few others that are. I appreciate that you don’t go off subject and ramble .New sub here! 👍. Thanks again for your content, as I have learned a lot. Keep up the great work.

Awesome video, very informative! Question: Would raising up the iron sights (to match the optic riser), be a bad thing? Like you mentioned, having to adjust back down to 'low profile' viewing (for a long neck) would take some getting used to (especially with headset on). Plus having the flashlight mounted at a 45 degree angle, would block any view for 45 degree BUIS. So yeah, will moving the iron sights up 3/4" effect accuracy? Thanks in advance!
