en 2023 le thème de la chanson est plus vrai que jamais en france; c est une chanson très réussie avec la voix agreable d axelle en prime

About 15 or 16 years ago I made a tape of French songs from TV5 over the course of a few weeks (something or other Pour Une Chanson) and put this on it. It was one of the best songs on the tape and remains one of my all time favourites anywhere. I don't really care for videos but I make an exception for this one (and for Alain Suchon's Foule Sentimentale). Even my Rough Guide to France doesn't think much of French pop music but I really love the songs on that tape, and I have (bien sur) good taste in music.
