Taste my breath on the wind
See the sky as it mirrors my colors
Hints and whispers begin
I am living to nourish you, cherish you
I am pulsing the blood in your veins
Feel the magic and power of surrender to life
The lyrics of Sarah Àlainn's song 'Riverdance/Drowsy Maggie' relate to the theme of the beauty and power of nature. These lines paint a vivid picture of the singer's desperate search for her lover as she calls out to the wind for help in finding him. The lines "Taste my breath on the wind, See the sky as it mirrors my colors" are a metaphor for the connection between love and nature. The singer feels that her lover is the reason she is alive and pumping blood through her veins.
She further describes the magic and power of surrendering oneself to nature and life. The lyrics suggest that nature has the capacity to heal souls and nourish hearts. The song could be interpreted as a love poem where the singer is not only in search of her lover but is also searching for a deeper connection with nature.
