The name is an abbreviation that is spelled as "super-intelligentes Drogenopfer" = "super intelligent drug victim". However this is the new interpretation while originally the name did spell as "Scheisse in Dein Ohr" = "shit (goes) into your ears".
In 2004, Sido's debut album, "Maske" ("Mask"), sold more than 100,000 copies in less than a month. In September of that year, the rapper won a prestigious German music award for "Best Newcomer". The best known song from that album, "Mein Block", describes life in the Maerkisches Viertel, a ghetto-like district of Berlin.
Sido has been spurting a lot of controversies. Most of his personal information is kept under blankets, not even the personal name or birthday is being confirmed by official records. Rumours say that the stage person is fully fictitious including its alleged background in a criminal ghetto. While some of his provocative aggressive songs have been banned many fans like to interpret the lyrics as a satirical on widespread prejudices about the life in so-called "problem districts".

Hab' hundert Tage gesucht und
Hab' in hundert Büchern gelesen
Keine Reue, keine Charme
Er fragt: „How much is the fish?“ I told him: „seven-hundertfünfzig“
Drecksbeats, Dreckslines, Brechreiz
Nimm's dir nicht zu Herzen, Dicka, that's life
Jogginghose, Bomberjacke, goldener Ferrari
The lyrics of the song "Hall of Fame" by Sido feat. Kool Savas are a reflection on the success and fame achieved by the artists. The song begins with the singer expressing their frustration in searching for a reason to not curse someone. They feel disappointed in others who look at them in a naive and loyal way, questioning why they are not being intimate with them.
The verse then transitions to a phone call from an artist named Drizzy Drake, informing the singer that Quentin has quit and they are looking for the "King of Rap." The singer reassures Drake that they will deliver on time and quotes the price of the collaboration. They boast about their rap skills, emphasizing their ability to deliver impressive rhymes with intensity. They compare themselves to GG Allin, an American punk rock singer known for his controversial behavior.
The song continues with references to the music industry and the rap scene. The singer claims to have dominated the rap game, reaching a level of expertise where they can effortlessly create songs. They criticize the state of German rap, accusing it of being shallow and questioning why they should listen to others. The lyrics also touch on gender identity, calling out men who present themselves as women for attention and comparing them to characters from the television show "Gossip Girl."
In the chorus, the artists proclaim that everything was planned out in their journey to success. They compare their past experiences of riding the subway to now driving in a Porsche and having their names engraved in the Hall of Fame. They express their confidence that they will continue to thrive and that there is no reason for them to leave the music scene.
Overall, the lyrics of "Hall of Fame" display a sense of self-assurance, pride in their accomplishments, and a dismissive attitude towards critics and the industry.
