Band's biography:
The band is formed after a traffic accident in December 1981, in Vigo (Galicia, Northwest of Spain), with a iconoclastic and neo-dadaist approach in the lyrics: galician punk rock against general boredom.
In January 1982 they send a demo with twelve songs to the radio program "This is not Hawai", presented by Jesús Ordovás in Radio 3 (Radio Nacional de España).
In June the same year the EP "Ayudando a los enfermos" ("Helping the sick people") is published with DRO, one of the new independent record companies that arised at that time.
In November they publish their first LP, "¿Cuándo se come aquí?" ("When do we eat here?") with 15 songs recorded in three days. It was a success in the alternative market.
In January 1983 they play live in Rock Ola (Madrid), an important concert venue for the new bands around the country. They record two songs for the program "Caja de ritmos" in Televisión Española. Due to censorship the program is canceled.

The song "Assumpta" by the Spanish rock band Siniestro Total tells the story of a beautiful girl from Barcelona with whom the singer had a relationship. The lyrics describe how while in bed, she would dance the traditional Catalan sardana for him. However, one day, she met a rastafarian while on safari and started dating him. Despite not being able to sing the blues, the rastafarian worked at a video rental store. The lyrics also describe how the girl was indifferent to the singer's feelings and treated him cruelly, despite being from the same city.
Eventually, the girl and rastafarian went to the Sanfermines festival in Pamplona, famously known for the running of the bulls. The rastafarian touched her butt, and they both laughed. However, a bull injures and leaves her lying there. The lyrics end where they began, with the singer reminiscing about her beauty and origins from Barcelona while lamenting that she treated him poorly.
The lyrics to "Assumpta" can be interpreted as a humorous tale of unrequited love and broken relationships. However, it also serves as a metaphor for Barcelona's turbulent history, its status as an iconic city of Spain, and the complex relationship between Barcelona and the rest of Spain.
