After a wildly successful tour across South America in late 2005, the band decided, in their own words, to "stop for a while". Some of their members went on to form side band projects such as No Relax and The Locos. As time went by without further notices, many Ska-P fans feared the band had been gone for good. On late April 2008 and for the rejoice of their worldwide fans, they announced their return as a band on their official site.
Their new album, "Lágrimas y gozos", was released the 7th of October 2008 and its first single is called "Crimen sollicitationis". The band is going to perform various shows around South America and Europe in November and December.

Supe que era autista a mis 30 años.
De niña se lo dijeron a mis padres, pero no quisieron escuchar, aún hoy, no quieren creerlo.
La gente me suele decir que no se me nota y que no tengo autismo. Ahí está el mayor error de la población no autista. El autismo no se tiene. Se es autista. Naces y mueres siendo autista. Igual que naces y mueres siendo heterosexual o homosexual.
No se quita ni mejora con terapias.
Dichas terapias sólo son un modo de adaptarse a la sociedad mayoritaria. Y eso, debiera ser delito. Ya que es forzarnos, por pura presión social y familiar a que no seamos quien somos realmente.
La sociedad no nos entiende, nuestras propias familias no nos entienden... Ni siquiera quienes estudian el autismo entienden.
La diversidad humana es un hecho y también un derecho. Un derecho que no se respeta cuando no entras dentro de los canones de normalidad de esta sociedad.
Esos canones no respetan el derecho a la diversidad.
Cada persona es única y valiosa por ser quien es... No importa como sea. Más tonta, más lista, mas guapa, más fea... Es irrelevante. Su valor como persona es el mismo.
