Vesnickej salám mi rozhodil sandál
Ublížil nevěstě, je těžký žít v městě
Tak je to od rána, když potkáš saláma
Bílej bije černýho a černej mlátí žlutýho
Žlutej mydlí rudýho a já na to zírám
Slabej mydlí silnýho a já na to zírám
Chudej bije pracháče a pracháč si to odskáče
Černej mydlí bílýho a já na to zírám
Já nemám vážně zájem se s nima rvát
Vymlátěj se navzájem, zbydu tu sám
Zůstanu sám
The lyrics to Törr's song Žijem v městě describe the violent and chaotic nature of living in a city. The singer wakes up to find that his morning has been disturbed by a rural salami that has ruined his sandal. He reflects on the constant violence and unfairness of city life, where the weak are always at risk of being hurt by those who are stronger. The lyrics paint a picture of a city where people are constantly fighting and attacking each other for no apparent reason.
The second part of the song describes the different ways in which people hurt each other in the city. The lyrics suggest that people of different races and social classes are constantly at odds with each other, with the strong attacking the weak, and the wealthy attacking the poor. Despite the chaos around him, the singer says he has no interest in fighting with anyone else. Instead, he wishes to be alone and avoid getting involved in the violence around him.
Overall, the lyrics to Törr's song Žijem v městě are a bleak commentary on the violence and cruelty of city life. They suggest that, in a city, people are constantly at risk of being hurt or attacked by others, and that the only way to survive is to stay out of the way and avoid confrontation.
