Maděra
Törr Lyrics

Na maděru tanec, kterej já hrozně rád
Když s láskou spustěj tenhle tanec divokej
Mávám hned nohama, jo maděru já rád
Moji milou nejde ten tanec naučit
Co s tím dřevem, proboha, já si mám počít
Moje milá nezná ten tanec tancovat
No nevadí, já ji mám stejně pořád rád
Když s láskou hrajou tenhle tanec divokej
Mávám hned nohama, jo maděru já rád
The song Maděra by Törr is a beautiful ode to the joy of dancing. The opening lines indicate that the song-writer's lover should know how to dance the maděra, a wild and passionate dance that the writer does himself. When this dance is played with love, the writer enthusiastically moves his feet along, indicating the deep joy and pleasure he derives from this dance.
However, the next few lines show that the writer's lover cannot learn this dance. The writer seems to be at loss at what to do with the wood used for dancing the maděra, and tries his best to teach his lover, but to no avail. However, this inability does not dampen the writer's love for his lover, and he continues to love her the same, even if she cannot dance the maděra.
The song is a beautiful tribute to the power of love, and how it can overcome any obstacle. The writer's love for his lover is so strong that it does not matter to him if she cannot dance the maděra. The maděra is used as a metaphor to signify the writer's passionate love, and even if his lover cannot reciprocate that passion, he continues to love her the same.
