This game had the most amazing mind bending twist end game that I have ever seen. It's just really hard for alot of people to TRULY comprehend the full impact and meaning of the Seneschel's words. Can't wait to see how we break the cycle eventually! (C'mon that's gotta be what Dragon's Dogma 2 is gonna be about!)

Yup and since it has been officially confirmed now, can’t wait for DD2

They're masterworks all, you can't go wrong.

The storyline becomes good when Grigori is involved. One of the best villains ever

I like to think of it as being a good story, but very badly told (with some hilarious mistakes if you play Aelinore's missions). They also could've done a better job with some of the characters you meet. A lot of them have great back stories that are never explained. It's not good when the official website gives you more information on characters than the game itself. XD

Enraged Overweight Fanboy

Are you implying Grigori was a villain son? He was forced into that role as a previous Arisen by the Seneschal

The Sapphire Fox

*SPOILERS* ------- The arisen tries to break the cycle when they use the Godsbane blade upon themselves. The former arisen, the Seneschal, never conceived that as an option... he believed the only way to do things was as they always were, and to keep up the cycle. It's hard to say the extent of the arisen's actions in the end, but the way the last sequences played out, I don't think there will ever be a "true" sequel to Dragon's Dogma.
