This song hit me hard on my second playthrough, mostly because i stopped for a few months and came back to play it offline cuz i didnt have internet. And to my suprise my old character was staring me in the face, still there as if watching the world for me when i left. Then came a hard choice since it was me i had to kill, the choice is obvious, kill him and take your place as the schenesal but still, to know that i let my old character keep watch and not notice, brings me shame for not noticing sooner.

I always went offline for the final boss. It felt much closer to the theme of cycles that the game has when you fought your previous character.
Plus I once ended up fighting this capped level guy as a NG Hard mode character and he destroyed me in one hit. THAT fight took a loooong time.

Thinking of how much bigger and greater in scale Dragon's Dogma was supposed to be before all the cuts makes me incredibly sad. The game released with maybe 20% of all the content that was originally planned for it. It's such a damned shame.
