Three Legacies
Chapter 12: The darkness rises
Event: City gone mad
(Barbatos, Julia, Byleth, Claude, Flèche, Rhea, and Agnes are walking towards Fenja territory.)
Flèche: So what do we do now, my lady. Or should I call you, your majesty after your heritage as a daughter of emperor Edelgard is revealed?
Barbatos: We return to enbarr. We already gathered a lot of our soldiers. And I suggest the surviving soldiers from the previous war are training new recruits to rebuild their massive military strength.
(Agnes growls)
Byleth: Agnes, what is it?
Barbatos: Nothing good I’ll wager. Come on!
(Viscount Fenja flew on her Pegasus to Barbatos, clutching to her injury at her side hip as blood seeped out.)
Viscount Fenja: Lady Barbatos!
Barbatos: What is it? You’re hurt! Get a medical attention immediately!
Viscount Fenja: Bandits appeared on massive numbers, stealing and killing civilians while burning my territories and people. Not only that, but they’re also suspicious figures nearby. Please help my subjects!
Barbatos: Okay. The monastery is between the three nations. You should be able to get medical from Manuela immediately.
Viscount Fenja: Thank you!
(Viscount Fenja flew to the monastery.)
Barbatos: Deploy our soldiers from the demon army corps to help quell the chaos but also rescue the townspeople. But remember, the perpetrators of this atrocity may be hiding somewhere. If you spot them, they are to be shown absolutely no mercy! Not only that, leave some of our soldiers to defend the evacuation shelter.
Demon Soldier (gremory, dressed in red and black color but with peach skin.): Yes, my lady!
Byleth: This is like Remire.
(Battle Begins. Barbatos’ demon army reaches Fenja territory now in flames and Bandits killing and desecrating corpses of civilians)
Barbatos: No…!
Julia: What happened here?!
Barbatos: Bandits! You’ll pay for this!
(Batbatos unsheathed dark creator sword, both crest stones in the weapon glow red along with the weapon and killed some of the bandits, splattering her body in blood and saved a civilian.)
Civilian: Th-thank you my lady!
Barbatos: You’re welcome.
Bandit: Ah! We’ve got a live one!
Barbatos: What are you doing here?! Answer me!
(Enemy Turn 1)
Bandit: Remember our orders, raze the territory, steal from people, and no survivors!
Rhea: Who would order such a thing?!
(Upon turn 3)
Bandit: Kill all the imperial dogs!
Barbatos: Imperial dogs…? They were innocent people!
(The true culprits from the dark god gang reinforcements led by the bandit general showed themselves.)
Bandit General: All must burn! The imperial citizens, and those who’ve sheltered them! By Xerxes’ command! Lord Xerxes’ son’s killer Alpha may already be here. Find her and kill her!
(Few seconds later)
Barbatos: One of my assassinated target’s father ordered this? Why…?
Julia: Barbatos!
Barbatos: I know. It can wait.
(Later on, the agarthans arrive as enemy reinforcements led by Kronya.)
Kronya: I’ll have my fun with the slaughtering of vermin.
Byleth: My father’s killer is revived? How? Did Cornelia resurrected… nevermind. Let’s focus on the battle.
Barbatos: Do you think they’re one of the perpetrators alongside Xerxes in this massacre? If so, add them on the to kill list too.
(When all of the survivors have been rescued.)
Rhea: We’ve managed to rescue the survivors, now all we have to do is eliminate the remaining enemies attacking this territory. Show no mercy to these sinners.
Barbatos: You heard her majesty, give no quarter to both the bandits and agarthans! Kill them all!
(Anyone vs. Kronya)
Kronya: The bad news, you’re going to die. This is where your final resting place and your death is going to be slow and painful.
(Barbatos vs. Kronya unique dialogue)
Barbatos: Who are you and what do you want?
Kronya: Cornelia tasked me to test your powers and abilities. Now show me your true power, daughter of Edelgard.
Barbatos: Be careful what you wish for, because it’s not gonna end well. How did you know my mother’s…wait, Cornelia told you about my mother giving birth to me in secret I’ll bet. If you wish to see my power, then take a closer look. (Immediately transforms into her demon form and the battle begins.)
(Byleth vs. Kronya unique dialogue)
Byleth: I didn’t expect my father’s murderer to be revived.
Kronya: You still miss your father? Well, I’ll send you to meet him in hell!
Byleth: You’ll regret the day you were reborn. I’ll send you back to hell to meet Thales.
(When Kronya is defeated.)
Kronya: I must say, not bad for a escaped test subject. Now all I need is your blood.
(Kronya’s retreat quote)
Demon Barbatos: You’re not getting a sample of my bloo-GAH!
(Kronya slammed a needle in Barbatos’ shoulder and extracted a pound of blood.)
Kronya: Let’s see how Cornelia feels about this.
(Barbatos reverts back to her human form.)
Barbatos: You’ve got what you wanted. (Points Dark Creator Sword at Kronya’s face as it glowed red.) Now tell me, where Cornelia is!
Kronya: I’m not telling you anything. Til we meet again, child of Edelgard.
(Kronya warps away)
Barbatos: Dammit! (Returns to quell the chaos in Fenja Territory.)
(End of battle, after all the bandits are killed and the survivors are saved.)
Barbatos: We are able to quell the chaos and saved as many as we can. Still…the damage done was so severe that many lost their homes and families. I’d better checkup on my uncle.

It's hard for me to take this song seriously since it reminds me of the cutscene where Kronya is running away from Byleth, trips, and does like 3 frontflips on flat ground.

I think it was made more awkward when Kronya fell to the ground because of Solon, and there was absolutely no movement in there.
