I Wanna Be Your Man
The Beatles Lyrics
I wanna be your lover, baby
I wanna be your man
I wanna be your lover, baby
I wanna be your man
Love you like no other, baby
Like no other can
Love you like no other, baby
Like no other can
I wanna be your man, I wanna be your man
Tell me that you love me, baby
Let me understand
Tell me that you love me, baby
I wanna be your man
I wanna be your lover, baby
I wanna be your man
I wanna be your lover, baby
I wanna be your man
I wanna be your man, I wanna be your man
I wanna be your man, I wanna be your man (whoa)
I wanna be your lover, baby
I wanna be your man
I wanna be your lover, baby
I wanna be your man
Love you like no other, baby
Like no other can
Love you like no other, baby
Like no other can
I wanna be your man, I wanna be your man
I wanna be your man, I wanna be your man
I wanna be your man, I wanna be your man
I wanna be your man, I wanna be your man

@x x - This is a false story. Google it. I believed it for years and repeated it as it was a funny story to tell and so people retold it. But if you Google it you can find out John never actually said it.
Actually, there were quite a few things I knew about The Beatles from books and articles as I've been a fan since the 70s but if you check these facts online you can actually find out they were just stories made up by some journalist.
This story about John was actually from a BBC comedy radio show, not John Lennon.

@Kunisake Ringo is a horrible singer but one of the best and most creative drummers ever. Ringo gave The Beatles a lot of their sound.
Pixelpop
@Unpluged Unpluged You are correct about John never having said that about Ringo. However, the instances of Paul playing drums in Ringo's absence is still factual.
