I know I may sound Cheesey but I LOVE Got my mind set on you. George is a phenomenal singer and not to shabby on guitar. Its such a catchy fun song.. That's what the 80's were. Im a woman. Been listening to the beatles since i was 8. Im 33 now. My mom was a teen when they were just starting to get big and she introduced me to their music. I love their songs. However, i have absolutely no clue why girls acted like that unless it was another case of mass hysteria. Yiu know like the 50 to 400 people who danced nonstop for days in the 1500s or those thousands of laughing people in africa in the 60s. Thats the closest explanation i can come up with.

@Morning Sky I think you're correct. They double tracked the vocal so Paul could harmonize with himself. But when they played All My Loving live, George did a great job singing the harmony. Their used to be an excellent video of Beatles at the Hollywood Bowl in '64, where George nails it effortlessly. YT took it down.

@patricia S remember the 70"s i started a band then ,,but remember the 70-80"s had a band in every pub (until the disco took our jobs) the disco then kareoke stole live music,and rather than do the real work of learning people didant,,even the 80"s meant they could buy a keyboard and it makes playing music easy,,but all that killed live bands and all them great song writers and bands from 1960-90 will never be seen again,,yes there are a few left and a few made,,but totaly nothing like there was back then, if you understood what it takes to play lead guitar or whatever youd know few people havant even the time to put that kind of work in now

Please, stop with the remastering .... this is beautiful in its way, but it is technically NOT how John and Paul intended for it to sound, they were rougher, more existential. I think that the reason this is not as well known as some of their other albums is because of the amount of covers on it, but I don't mind it, I didn't even know that some of these were covers until I read the comments...

Now ,I wasn't ready to hear a cover of this Smokey Robinson classic, but after listening to what two of these Beatles(the now dead half) did, I applaud it.
