ولا نأيها يثني ولا أنت تصبر
إذا جئت فامنح، إذا جئت فامنح
إذا جئت فامنح طرف عينيك غيرنا
لكي يحسبوا أن الهوى حيث تنظر
In the song "Wala Korb Noamen" by Wadih El Safi, the lyrics speak to the idea of not expecting anything in return when showing kindness or love. The singer expresses that even if you do not benefit from someone's closeness or if they do not reciprocate, it should not deter you from expressing your affection. Instead, it is encouraged to give unconditionally and selflessly. The lyrics go on to suggest that when you come forward to give, you should offer the most precious thing to you, which is the gaze of your eyes, to someone else. This act of giving and expressing love without expecting anything in return challenges the common notion that love is conditional and suggests that it can go beyond personal gain or mutual affection.
Overall, "Wala Korb Noamen" highlights the importance of selflessness in love and encourages individuals to give and express affection without any expectations.
