Breakfast at Tiffany's
Deep Blue Something Lyrics

You'll say we've got nothing in common
No common ground to start from
And we're falling apart
You'll say the world has come between us
Our lives have come between us
Still I know you just don't care

And I said, "What about Breakfast at Tiffany's?"
She said, "I think I remember the film
And as I recall, I think we both kinda liked it"
And I said, "Well, that's the one thing we've got"

I see you, the only one who knew me
But now your eyes see through me
I guess I was wrong
So what now? It's plain to see we're over
And I hate when things are over
When so much is left undone

And I said, "What about Breakfast at Tiffany's?"
She said, "I think I remember the film
And as I recall, I think we both kinda liked it"
And I said, "Well, that's the one thing we've got"

You'll say that we've got nothing in common
No common ground to start from
And we're falling apart
You'll say the world has come between us
Our lives have come between us
Still I know you just don't care

And I said, "What about Breakfast at Tiffany's?"
She said, "I think I remember the film
And as I recall, I think we both kinda liked it"
And I said, "Well, that's the one thing we've got"

Ooh, and I said, "What about Breakfast at Tiffany's?"
She said, "I think I remember the film
And as I recall, I think we both kinda liked it"
And I said, "Well, that's the one thing we've got"

And I said, "What about Breakfast at Tiffany's?"
She said, "I think I remember the film
And as I recall, I think we both kinda liked it"
And I said, "Well, that's the one thing we've got"

Breakfast At Tiffany’s lyrics:

[Verse 1]
You say that we've got nothing in common
No common ground to start from
And we're falling apart
You'll say the world has come between us
Our lives have come between us
Still I know you just don't care

[Chorus]
And I said "What about Breakfast at Tiffany's?"
She said, "I think I remember that film
And as I recall, I think we both kinda liked it."
And I said "Well, that's one thing we've got."

[Verse 2]
I see you - the only one who knew me
And now your eyes see through me
I guess I was wrong
So what now? It's plain to see we're over
And I hate when things are over
When so much is left undone

[Chorus]
And I said "What about Breakfast at Tiffany's?"
She said, "I think I remember that film
And as I recall, I think we both kinda liked it."
And I said "Well, that's one thing we've got."

Yes, it's natural to wonder what Breakfast at Tiffany's would be look, but that's not the question you should be asking. The actual sentiment is "what would it be like to be so rich that I hang out at Tiffany's so much that they know my name, and what i like for breakfast, and they give me glasses of champagne whenever I am there dropping tens of thousands of dollars on what ever bauble strikes my fancy that moment, and I show up at 9 am and they let me in and there is breakfast there for high rollers. In that sense, breakfast at Tiffany's is just the tip of the iceberg. After that it's on to Cartier, and then the country club for afternoon tea, and then a few laps in my Ferrari at the track. Now, ask yourself, what would that be like. And to all those commentors focusing on $40, if you're worried about dropping $40 on breakfast, then this fantasy is for you. As for me, my life is somewhat like that, except I hang out at Marshall's rather than Tiffany. I just bought a giant jar of Australian honey, some artichoke hearts in brine, and some pickled asparagus. Breakfast!!!!

Bottle Rocket

For the people who have never really paid attention to the lyrics before, this song is about a guy declaring that there's hope for he and his girlfriend's relationship because they both like the same movie.

Mr. Skeleton

The problem is that the movie is horrible and a total waste when Audrey's talent allowed doing so much more with that character.

I hope you are right, I think the title of that movie is some kind of code for turbulence up ahead (in a relationship).
