Nine Inch Nails Lyrics
You let me violate you
You let me desecrate you
You let me penetrate you
You let me complicate you
(Help me) I broke apart my insides
(Help me) I've got no soul to sell
(Help me) the only thing that works for me
Help me get away from myself
I wanna fuck you like an animal
I wanna feel you from the inside
I wanna fuck you like an animal
My whole existence is flawed
You get me closer to God
You can have my isolation
You can have the hate that it brings
You can have my absence of faith
You can have my everything
(Help me) you tear down my reason
(Help me) it's your sex I can smell
(Help me) you make me perfect
Help me become somebody else
I wanna fuck you like an animal
I wanna feel you from the inside
I wanna fuck you like an animal
My whole existence is flawed
You get me closer to God
Through every forest
Above the trees
Within my stomach
Scraped off my knees
I drink the honey
Inside your hive
You are the reason
I stay alive

this was my grandmother's favorite song, we played it at her funeral two weeks and the chorus had me in tears. Love you Gma.

And, that my friend is why I did not open the door to that stranger, when my stepfather left me home alone in Georgia, to go cheat on my mom. Because I remember what Lotte told me😅
Beautiful Loneliness
I want a grandma like that... Oh well, I'll stick with my father.

I remember when this video came out, it was huge! They had to censor it for TV, but the way they did it was brilliant: instead of blurring certain scenes or part of the images, they inserted a "Scene Missing" title card in the same grainy antique film; it looked completely organic and even planned, which IMO gave an even more disturbing effect because your mind had to fill in the blanks and, given the tone of the video and the song and the band, your imagination just went to really dark places to figure out what those images could possibly be. I've been looking for that cut for TV video and can't seem to find it anywhere, it's a great example of the video director's creativity!

I love the MTV version as well, so well I even blasted it on my car radio and had no idea the F word was even used until I downloaded the mp3 four or five years later and thought "what"?
